The TRA is legally mandated to issue licenses in line with its aim of promoting competition in the telecommunications sector and protecting the rights of consumers and organizations. In addition to issuing licenses, it is responsible for organizing concessions, amending, suspending, withdrawing and supervising execution of these concessions and licenses.
