The TRA have the competencies and the required expertise to deal with cybersecurity issues
Helping in the development of a national cybersecurity policy- Assist and participate in the establishment of a national Computer Emergency Response Team & Center (CERT) in collaboration with ITU and the Lebanese University
- Raise the awareness at the national level about the threats of cyberspace
- Help unify, harmonize and update the Lebanese laws and regulations and all the legal and legislative frameworks to protect the Lebanese cyberspace
The TRA is an integral part and at the core of the ongoing efforts addressing cybersecurity. The TRA has begun efforts to raise awareness since 2008 through numerous activities and joint efforts with local, regional and international organizations. The TRA also believes that it is a key organization in regulating and implementing potential security models and measures to help secure our cyberspace.
