The TRA issued the
“Radio Sites Installation and Modification Draft Regulation” for public consultation defining the guidelines to be adopted by the Service Providers in installing and modifying their radio sites used for the provision of private and public telecommunications services as well as earth television and radio broadcast services relying on radio frequencies. These guidelines also include the tagging procedures of the telecommunications equipments installed or to be installed in radio sites over the Lebanese territory. They are meant to prevent the installation of unlicensed radio sites that are harmful to the telecommunications sector as well as the public health and national security.
