In case you hold a prepaid line and are willing to switch to a postpaid plan, read carefully the tips below to make sure you do not lose your remaining balance on your prepaid account while making the switch:

1. Before you make the switch from prepaid to postpaid, make sure you have consumed all your credit on your prepaid account. In case you make the switch before having consumed all the available credit, you risk of losing the remaining balance. To check the remaining balance on your account:
   • If you are an Alfa (hyperlink) prepaid line holder, Dial *11# and press “OK” to check the account balance and validity
   • if you are an MTC-Touch (hyperlink) magic line holder, Dial *220# and press “OK" (free of charge) to check the account balance and validity,
2. In case you decide to switch to postpaid and have not consumed all your available credit, you can use the credit transfer service and transfer the remaining balance to one of your relatives and friends prepaid line.
