The World Bank gave its clearance for the selection of Mr. Gunnulf Martenson - a telecommunications generalist with over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry in Finland and abroad – as a Consultant for Part 3, and more particularly to provide technical support to the Ministry of Telecommunications (MoT) in its ongoing restructuring and infrastructure expansion projects (enhance the efficiency of MoT’s fixed line operations; develop broadband networks in Lebanon; enhance the performance of MoT’s mobile networks).

The TRA and Mr. Gunnulf Martenson entered into a contract valued at $55,330, on the 11th of February, 2011 based on the Grant Agreement between the TRA and the World Bank and satisfying the protocol agreement signed between the TRA and the MoT. This Contract specifies all the terms and conditions related to Part 3.
