The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Lebanon, represented by Mrs. Carole Hage, and in collaboration with the Arab Chapter of Network of Women in ITU-D, organized an online workshop on "Work/Life Balance" on May 7th in the framework of the Girls in ICT celebration.

Led by renowned life coach, trainer, and consultant Aya Barakat, this workshop was made accessible to the TRA staff and all the members of ITU-D Network of Women, and had a total participation of 66 women from the Arab countries. Designed to empower women in the Arab region, the sessions focused on achieving balance in both their professional and personal lives. Participants gained insights, strategies, and tools for effective task prioritization, time management, stress relief, and the importance of building a strong support network. They also acquired valuable skills in investing in self-care practices to enhance resilience and promote overall well-being.

Mrs. Hage, Vice Chairwoman on the steering committee of Arab Chapter of NOW ITU-D, said: “The workshop's subject was chosen in response to network members expressing challenges in balancing work and life. We have a responsibility to support girls and women in overcoming obstacles, facilitating their journey, and helping them achieve their goals.”
