Dr. Imad Hoballah TRA acting chairman and CEO will be participating in the 10th Arab Telecom & Internet Forum (ATIF 2011) that will be held at the Habtoor Grand hotel on January 26-27, 2011. ATIF 2011 is organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group and Union in cooperation with the Telecom Ministry of Lebanon, the ESCWA and the ITU.

The forum will discuss the nature and opportunities of modern telecom business models and will analyze developments occurring in the fields that are witnessing changes like investments, broadband development, regulators’ role, needs of the modern digital consumer, digital security and other issues.

Dr. Hoballah will be giving a presentation titled: “Broadband Proliferation in Lebanon” in which he will be speaking about the current status of the Lebanese Broadband Market and will highlight TRA efforts and view to build the Broadband Ecosystem while referring to other international Experiences.
