The TRA and the Ministry of Economy and Trade signed an MoU on Wednesday 11th February as a fundamental step taken to protect telecommunications
consumers rights and solve their complaints. Mr. Fouad Fleilfel, Director General of the MoET and head of the Consumer Protection Directorate (CPD) at the Ministry, had already set-up a hotline within CPD to handle all consumers complaints including telecom ones. Both institutions have now joined their efforts and shared this hotline as a first step to better serve telecom consumers.
