In a constant effort for transparency and dialogue with its stakeholders the TRA invited today, Tuesday August 17, 2010 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Data Service Providers (DSPs) to participate in an open discussion at the TRA premises.

The discussion, headed by the TRA Acting Chairman and CEO, Dr. Imad Hoballah, as well as TRA Board Members Mr. Patrick Eid and Mrs. Mahassen Ajam, evolved around the Telecommunications Network Security issues and the guidelines set by the TRA to improve the network and protect the privacy of users and their interests.

This meeting is one of a series of similar meetings with concerned Service Providers that will eventually lead to the issuance of the TRA security issues recommendations.
