The TRA has issued Circular 5/2009 stating that the TRA has the prerogative to manage the numbering plan. Therefore, the Ministry of telecommunications, mobile operators and service providers should refer to the TRA to request new numbers and all matters related to the assignment of fixed, mobile and short numbers.
