Spectrum is a scarce national resource that enables a wide range of wireless communications and services, from mobile networks and broadcasting to satellite, aviation, maritime, and emerging technologies. Effective spectrum management is essential to support connectivity, innovation, economic growth, public safety, and the reliable operation of wireless systems.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) is the exclusive authority managing, regulating and monitoring spectrum use in Lebanon. The TRA works to ensure that spectrum is used efficiently and fairly, promotes the introduction of new wireless technologies and services, and helps prevent harmful interference through effective national and international coordination.
