The consultation on the
draft "Optical Fiber Deployment Guidelines" aims to establish a practical national framework for the safe, efficient, and standardized deployment of high-quality fiber-optic infrastructure in Lebanon, aligned with applicable legislation, international standards, and recognized industry best practices.
The proposed Guidelines seek to improve coordination and interoperability among relevant stakeholders, enhance the quality and consistency of fiber deployments, reduce unnecessary civil works, facilitate broadband expansion, and support the long-term development of Lebanon’s telecommunications infrastructure.
The
draft "Optical Fiber Deployment Guidelines" are now being launched for consultation. Interested parties are requested to review the following documents and submit their feedback by
5:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, September 9, 2026:
Responses to the consultation should be submitted in PDF or Microsoft Word format, together with the completed consultation cover sheet, to
fiber_guidelines@tra.gov.lb by the consultation deadline.
