The TRA held a conference on Wednesday 27th of August to communicate to the public about the Authority’s achievements to date, where the TRA Chairman and CEO, Dr. Kamal Shehadi, handed the Annual Report to the Minister of Telecommunications, H.E. Eng. Gibran Bassil. The event took place at BIEL, Pavillon Royal, in the presence of Former Telecom Minister H.E. Marwan Hamade, Minister of Interior H.E. Me Ziad Baroud, MPs, DGs, Government representatives, telecommunications service providers as well as the media.

The Minister assured his full support to the TRA and its independence and stated that the TRA and the Ministry of Telecommunications are working on mutual goals. He also added that the MoT shares the TRA’s vision in developing the telecommunications sector in Lebanon and will empower its resources and capabilities.
