The TRA participated in the Reinventing Government 2030 – Pilot Workshop on Digital Transformation Governance, organized by the Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR) under the patronage of H.E. Minister Dr. Fadi Makki on December 17, 2025.

The workshop was attended on behalf of the TRA by Dr. Jenny Gemayel, Chairwoman, and Eng. Manal Shihab, Senior Software Expert, as part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to support national digital transformation initiatives.

During the workshop, the TRA presented a set of key recommendations, including the implementation of a national electronic identification (e-ID) system as a fundamental pillar for enabling digital government services. The Authority also suggested centralizing citizens’ identification while decentralizing the data related to sector-based e-services, in line with international best practices for governance, security, and data protection. In addition, the TRA recommended involving the banking sector in future roundtable discussions.

Highlighting the importance of the TRA’s active engagement, Dr. Gemayel stated : "The TRA is not only a regulator but a strategic enabler of digital transformation ensuring that digital progress is inclusive, secure, competitive, and sustainable."
