The TRA Board met on December 17 with President of the Parliament H.E Nabih Berri, who affirmed his full support for the Authority and its mission to advance Lebanon’s telecommunications sector.

During the meeting, President Berri emphasized that “the telecom sector is the oil of Lebanon,” highlighting its strategic importance for economic recovery and national development while underscoring the need for a strong, modern, and sustainably regulated sector.

President Berri also called on the TRA to work at full capacity and with complete independence, free from any external pressure or influence. He stressed that empowering the Authority to fulfill its mandate is essential for restoring confidence and encouraging investments in the telecommunications sector.
