In a pivotal meeting today held today at the Ministry of Telecommunications, HE Charles Hage announced to the TRA staff that the long-anticipated appointment of the TRA Board members is expected to take place as early as in the next few weeks marking a new phase in the Authority’s journey.

HE Charles Hage, called for immediate momentum: “Sharpen your pencils and get your files in order.” He emphasized the TRA dual role ahead supporting the Ministry’s strategic initiatives while fully assuming the TRA’s regulatory mandate.

Minister Hage also acknowledged the Authority’s limited human resources, urging the staff to support one another and work collaboratively to compensate for gaps. Despite being understaffed, the TRA must remain ready to lead and regulate the market. "It is up to you to make the TRA succeed." he said.

This moment represents more than an administrative update: it is a call to maximize productivity, to restore institutional presence, and to take charge of a sector in need of consistent and qualified oversight.

With proper governance and committed employees, the TRA is to become the driving force of Lebanon’s telecommunications sector.
