Mrs. Nathalie Boustany, TRA Marketing Manager, and Eng. Manal Shihab, Senior Software Expert, participated in the roundtable related to Girls in ICT organized by CISCO at their premises in Beirut Down Town on May 8, in the presence of CISCO representatives and International College School female students.

Nathalie and Manal gave a presentation titled: “Women in ICT in support to the girls in ICT initiative” in which they highlighted the TRA role in regard to this initiative and stressed on the importance of encouraging girls to adopt careers in the ICT and telecommunications industry which offers tremendous and infinite opportunities.

The Girls in ICT initiative of the International Telecommunication Union is a global effort to raise awareness on empowering and encouraging girls and young women to consider studies and careers in ICTs. The initiative is committed to celebrate and commemorate the International Girls in ICT Day.
