The TRA supports Roula el Helou who was denied access on board a Middle East Airlines flight because of her physical disability. The TRA stands firmly against this discrimination and requests the application of law 220/2000, which supports persons with disabilities and their needs. The TRA also requests the integration of these persons within governmental administrations.

The TRA emphasizes the urgent need to take the required measures which ensure the protection of the dignity and humanity of Lebanese citizens as defined in the Lebanese constitution and the various international agreements and treaties which prohibit all forms of discrimination between citizens and emphasize the principle of equal citizenship.
