Data and Investment Consult Lebanon held on Monday December 23rd its yearly economic forum under the title "Hedging Market Risk vs Alternative Means of Finance" at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hamra.

This forum is one of a series of workshops organized by Data and Investment Consult Lebanon that evaluates the market risks and forecasts the regional and local investments. This year’s forum was marked by the participation of HE Minister Nicholas Sehnaoui and the presence of a large number of regional experts, stock exchange and regional and national banking and financial institutions representatives.

The forum was also marked by the distribution of 2013 Honorary Awards to various economic and finance experts and institutions who marked the year with their achievements. Among others, HE the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Dr. Riad Salameh was nominated the Man of the Year, HE Minister Sehnaoui, was handed the Best Achievement in Public Sector Award,j and Dr. Imad Hoballah, Chairman and CEO of the TRA, was presented with the "Excellence in Cybersecurity Leadership and Institutional Support Award".
