The TRA held on Monday, October 7,2013, a press conference at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority premises where Dr. Imad Hoballah, TRA Acting Chairman and CEO, clarified his position and responded to the accusations against him personally and against the TRA, especially its legitimacy and its human resources.

Dr. Hoballah gave a general overview about the establishment of the TRA, its prerogatives and the stages the Institution went through since its inception. He also clarified the Type Approval prerogatives that were recently transferred to the TRA and created a controversy .
