In line with its role and responsibility to regulate and develop the telecommunications sector in Lebanon, while ensuring consumer rights protection, the
TRA promotes awareness as a critical aspect as part of its mission to achieve high transparency among its stakeholders.
In that regards, the TRA launched its new
corporate brochure that aims at strengthening public awareness of the TRA and understanding of its role and contributions by various stakeholders.
This brochure details TRA mission, duties and prerogatives and introduces its strategic projects focused around five main axes: building the institution, protecting consumers, managing scarce resources, promoting fair market competition, and reforming and developing the sector. The brochure also introduces TRA core values, its structure, and the regulatory framework that the TRA has been developing extensively, to ensure successful sector liberalization and development.
The TRA will distribute its corporate brochure electronically and by regular mail to telecom service providers, governmental institutions, international organizations, and telecommunications Regulatory Authorities in other countries as well as TRA partners, telecom consumers and market stakeholders.
