March 15th is celebrated around the world as being the World Consumer Rights Day. In celebrating this important day, Mr. Fouad Fleifel, the Acting Director of the Consumer Protection Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Trade (MoET) called on many involved authorities and government entities to present their accomplishments related to consumer protection on March 15th, 2012 at the Conference hall of the Order of Engineers. As such, Dr. Imad Hoballah, Acting Chairman and CEO of the TRA presented  the Authority’s achievements related to protecting consumers in the telecommunications field, as the leading authority who is working on the regulatory ground and pragmatically on the field to protect telecom consumers.
