Further to the opening ceremony of the 9th AREGNET meeting, TRA experts presented the preliminary analysis of two out of three adopted projects during the Network plenary meeting of July 2011.

The TRA had actually presented 3 projects/studies, that were adopted by AREGNET, and planned to be developed and implemented throughout 2011 and 2012 and related to cloud computing, telecom market assessment and children online protection.

Mrs. Corine Feghaly, TRA Senior Consumer Affairs and Public Consultation Expert walked the audience through the preliminary results of the study related to children online protection and Dr. Ali Krecht explained the findings related to the cloud computing project.

The afternoon session was also dedicated to the ratification of the final report developed by the TRA on updating of the Quality of Service regulatory framework in the Arab countries.
