TRA senior experts Ms. Corine Feghaly in charge of Consumer Affairs and Public Consultations and Mr. Said Haidar in charge of Quality of Service Management will be giving a parents awareness session about online tools to protect children while surfing the internet during the Safer Internet Day event dedicated to parents and children that will take place on Saturday February 4th, 2012 from 2 to 5 PM, at Saint Charles School, Achrafieh, Beirut.

This event is organized by World Vision Lebanon, under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Affairs -The Higher Council for Childhood- and gathers more than 1,000 participants from several regions in Lebanon varying from World Vision beneficiaries, children from various schools, NGOs, scouts groups and social development centers.

The program will include educational corners about Internet Safety, kermes games with messages related to the topic, animation conducted by Cirqu'En Ciel, awareness sessions for parents as well as discussion groups between children and parents. NGOs will be represented in animation booths and exhibitions (Himaya- YMCA- Kidproof ME - Al Mahdi Scouts and Guides- WVL ) and several companies will be providing trainings for parents including the TRA (Microsoft Lebanon- E-Mediat- Kidproof ME- Al Mahdi Scouts and Guides).
