Mrs. Ajam was invited to speak in the framework of a lecture organized by IEEE - Women In Engineering Lebanon Section (WIE) today at 12:30 pm at AUB.

Her presentation titled "Telecommunication Regulatory Authority Achievements and challenges" reviewed the TRA's prerogatives and detailed the Authority's competencies and achievements as well as the challenges faced since its inception. Mrs. Ajam went through the main regulations issued by the TRA and pointed out their crucial impact on the telecom sector and Lebanese consumers of telecommunications services. She also provided an overview of the telecommunications sector situation and answered various questions raised by the audience at the end of the session.

Eng. Daniel Hamadeh, senior spectrum expert at the TRA, also attended the lecture and answered technical related questions.
