AIRF executive committee elects its new president

The third “Arab Infrastructure Regulatory Forum (AIRF)” that was held in Cairo on 11-12 December 2011 is a non-profit consultative gathering covering issues related to infrastructure development.
Since 2009, infrastructure-related ministries, agencies and regulators from sixteen Arab countries and territories have participated in the deliberation and design of the AIRF objectives, governance structure, activity range and funding mechanisms. This year’s event gathered also ministries and agencies in charge of transportation, water and sanitation.
During the event, members agreed on the statute of AIRF and elected the president and Vice president of the executive committee.
Dr. Fareed Zedan was elected President and Dr. Imad Hoballah elected Vice President.
