The TRA participated on December 7 and 8 in the National Workshop “Safety Online: National Initiatives” in Rotana Hotel, Hazmieh, which was organized by the Higher Council for Childhood in collaboration with World Vision Lebanon, under the Patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs Mr. Wael Abou Faour.

Mrs. Corine Feghaly, Consumer Affairs and Public Consultations Manager, represented the TRA by giving a presentation on December 7, on the dangers facing children surfing cyberspace and explained the TRA and other important stakeholder’s actions till date to protect children. Mrs. Feghaly also discussed during the roundtables held on the 2nd day of this workshop the necessary tools to be implemented to protect children online while sharing the TRA’s vision for a safer place and initiatives to be undertaken in Lebanon for the February 2012 Safe Day.
