Dr. Imad Hoballah was invited to participate and speak in the “Public Sector involvement in building the sector” panel in upcoming Arab Telecom and Internet Forum (ATIF). This panel will be chaired by Mr. Ghassan Hasbani (STC, KSA) and will be marked by the active participation of H.E. Dr. Charbel Nahas, Minister of Telecommunications as well as other Arab Telecom Ministers.

ATIF is the annual forum gathering the telecom industry leaders and decision-makers and discussing the latest developments and technologies affecting the telecom industry.

This year’s event will be held at Habtoor Grand Hotel in Beirut on 2-3 June, 2011 and will debate the nature and opportunities of modern telecom business models. The conference will analyze developments occurring in the fields that are witnessing changes including the investment field, broadband development, regulators’ role, needs of the modern digital consumer, digital security and other issues. It will also reveal the transformations in the telecommunication sector in light of the new on demand services, as well as the new consumer trends of internet and mobile phone users, and digital communities.
