The 14th ASMG meeting will unify Arab countries' position related to the agenda items to be discussed at the World Radio Conference in Geneva in 2012
 
The TRA and the Arab League hosted today the opening ceremony of the 14th ASMG meeting held in Beirut from 29th November till 2nd December 2010 at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel.

Eng. Mohamad Ayoub, TRA Senior Spectrum Management Expert, inaugurated the meeting in the presence of the Minister of Telecommunications, HE. Mr. Charbel Nahas, the ASMG president Eng. Tarek Al Awadi, Mrs. Riham al Mit, Arab League representative and the TRA Board, Dr. Imad Hoballah , Acting Chairman and CEO, Mrs. Mahassen Ajam and Eng. Patrick Eid. The opening ceremony also gathered a large number of spectrum management experts and consultants from Arab countries and the media.

The 14th ASMG meeting is maked by the active particiaption of more than 200 high profile experts to discuss management and regulatory spectrum issues and prepare for the Arab positions on the different agenda items that will be presented at the ITU world Radio Conference in Geneva in 2012.
