The American Embassy in Lebanon and the American-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce organized in collaboration with the Union of Arab ICT Associations (IJMA3) and the National U.S. Arab Chamber of Commerce, the first annual US-Lebanon ICT Forum on Oct 14-15 at BIEL Center in Beirut. This event aimed at strengthening the commercial - economic relations between the two countries and showcased 60 companies active in the ICT sector and their latest products. It also featured a series of seminars and panels where Mr. Patrick Eid, Commissioner, Board Member and Head of Market and Competition Unit at the TRA, gave a presentation titled “Broadband in Lebanon from an Infrastructure Perspective”.
