The 9th Arab Telecom and Internet Forum is an event organized by Al Iktissad wal Aamal on 15th and 16th April 2009. This forum will gather industry policy makers, leaders and experts to discuss issues facing the industry and the operators in the region. The forum will also tackle investment opportunities, the availability of finance, mergers and acquisitions, as well as Telecom convergence with other sectors.

Dr. Shehadi will be participating as a speaker in the panel “ The New Face in Terms of Regulation and Competition” where panelists and participants will be discussing the regulatory measures to be taken to protect investments and consumers, the potential foundation of a pan-Arab regulatory body under the patronage of the Arab League and Broadband regulation issues in the region and in Lebanon.
