Organized by Confex International and held under the patronage of His Excellency PM Saad Hariri, this conference was held on 4th and 5th February and gathered a large number of officials, businessmen and experts in real estate development, tourism, telecommunications and banking and industrialists from Lebanon and Oman to discuss cooperation and investment opportunities between the two countries.

His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tarek Al Said and the Minister of Heritage and Culture of Oman were invited to attend this conference in addition to various Lebanese, Omani and Arab Ministers (economy - trade - industry - tourism)

Dr. Shehadi emphasized on the importance of the telecommunications industry as an engine for the development and the growth of the National economy. He said “the liberalization of the telecom sector in Lebanon will open the door to investments and will result in fair competition and the protection of users rights”
