A key issue that telecommunications operators have at the moment is that their OSS/BSS systems are not up to speed in satisfying the requirements of next generation services and easing the process of introduction new services. Operators are moving from OSS to NGOSS (next generation OSS) and through BSS modernization and consolidation. Issues of modernization and consolidation of these systems are very important - and so also are the integration problems that will enable these goals to be achieved.
