The workshop is part of the department’s capacity building program for the Arab region to explore the current issues and challenges of e/m-government development in the Arab Region, develop partnerships for capacity building in the region and identify capacity building needs for e/m-government in the region. The workshop will provide opportunities for an in-depth discussion and a wide exchange of views on initiating and implementing e/m-government solutions, with the objective to promote regional cooperation and the regional perspective in e/m-government development, through discussion and presentations regarding the fundamentals of the enabling environment.
Participants: 30 participants consisting of representatives from Government, UNPAN Partners and non-governmental organizations in Arab region and UNDESA experts.
