MOBILE USER GENERATED CONTENT, COMMUNITIES AND SOCIAL NETWORKING FORUM
January 26 - 28, 2009

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The conference will explore the user generated content and social networking for the mobile industry, discuss the business opportunities that exist here for market players, highlight case studies from market leaders who are developing successful business models in this sector and learn from the successes of the online sites.

It will analyze the prospects of mobile communities and user generated content services and the progress that has been made in this sector by operators and mobile user generated content sites since our last conference and will explore the latest operator approaches to these mobile services, discusses how operators and their partners can generate revenue from communities and user generated content and study the role operators should play in the value chain.

The conference will discuss and present case studies exploring how this new service can be developed and positioned by mobile operators and how user generated content could be the catalyst for customer uptake of new services over operators advanced mobile networks. It will also discuss the challenge that operators face in ensuring appropriate content for all ages and to ensure that younger users are protected. Operators want to ensure that users benefit from a great experience so need to focus on quality to ensure successful business models for their user generated content strategies; this will be a key theme at this conference.
