The Global Summit on Mobile Applications and Services for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities, also known as the M-Enabling Summit, will be held on June 6' and 7th 2013, at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel, in Arlington, Virginia. The Summit is jointly sponsored by the Federal Communications Cominission (FCC) and the Global Initiative for Inclusive Information and Communication Technologies (G3ict), an advocacy initiative of the United Nations Global Alliance for ICT and Development. The Summit will be dedicated to promoting and implementing accessible mobile communications and services for senior citizens and persons of all abilities. It is expected to attract an audience of hundreds of participants from more than 40 countries,underlining the global scope of new mobile opportunities for users and developers alike. The Summit will include various panels on mobile technologies, as well as displays of the latest technologies and applications in the field of mobile communications technologies for seniors and persons with disabilities.
