Location: Lebanese University-Faculty of Engineering in Hadath
The
Cyber Security Workshop will take place on June 15-18, 2011 at the Lebanese University-Faculty of Engineering in Hadath.
This workshop includes theoretical courses and practical exercises and will cover the following topics:
- Law and regulatory aspects
- Threats and Risk Analysis
- Operating system and application security
- Network security and Access Control
- Security of applications
- Cryptography and e-signature
- E-certification and PKI
- Security management
The theoretical courses are open for a wide range of ICT professions including finance, banking, education, etc having a technical background in computer science. However, the training or practice exercises are limited for people with an advanced IT background and good working knowledge of computers and its applications (engineer, administrator etc.)
Participants will receive a certificate acknowledging that they have participated to the workshop.
