The Pan Arab Regional Legal and regulatory Observatory for Cyber Security is organizing its first Pan Arab Cyber Security Day to acknowledge and gather Arab organizations sector around the support of Cyber Security as a vehicle for socio-economic growth and business expansion.
The Pan Arab Cyber Security Day 2010 will be participatory based on practical case studies that will enable the PACS Day 2010 to come out with recommendations on different Cyber Security and Privacy issues.
The objectives of the Pan Arab Cyber Security Day 2010 can be stated as follow:
- Update the government official bodies on the Cyber Security Issues.
- Enhance the opportunities of communication between all stakeholders, and Cyber Security Advisers
- Highlight the role and the importance of the observatory as an Arab Cyber Security Umbrella and Awareness Engine
- Enhance the judicial systems’ capacity in the field that positively impacts Cyber Security and Privacy protection.
- Enhance the public’s knowledge about Cyber Security issues in relation to the changing ICT environment.
- Promote Cyber Security across the Arab World by attracting participants from other Arab countries.
- Introduce the best practices in the Cyber Security field to the Arab Society
