MENA Infrastructure Forum of Regulators Conference
December 7 - 8, 2009  
Location: Marriott hotel in Amman, Jordan

Sponsored by PPIAF, The World Bank, and other organizations, MENA Infrastructure Forum of Regulators Conference will gather infrastructure policy makers, regulators, service providers and civil society organizations. The discussions will focus on recent infrastructure reform developments in MENA and explore options for establishing a “Regional Forum for Infrastructure Regulators” in the MENA region. The World Bank has appointed a consulting firm to prepare a background paper. The findings of the paper will be presented to lay the ground for the discussion on the first day.

The conference will be organized in two parts. During Day 1, participants will discuss broad infrastructure development and regulation issues in MENA. The discussions on Day 2 will focus on the options, purpose and scope of the regional regulatory forum. Please, review the attached conference agenda for more details.
