The TRA has further extended the deadline for submitting responses to the public consultation on “Spectrum Re-farming: Broadband Context and Framework.” Stakeholders may now provide their comments and feedback until 28 August 2026.

The additional period is intended to allow interested parties sufficient time to examine the consultation document, assess the proposed framework, and prepare comprehensive and well-supported responses.

Through this consultation, the TRA is seeking stakeholder views on the reorganization of spectrum use, with the objective of promoting more efficient spectrum management, improving broadband services, and supporting the introduction of future technologies.

The TRA invites all concerned stakeholders to participate actively in the consultation process. Their technical expertise, market knowledge, and practical feedback will play an important role in ensuring effective market organization and in developing a regulatory framework that responds to the sector’s current needs and future challenges.

Responses may be submitted by email to spectrum_refarming@tra.gov.lb or delivered by courier to the TRA premises, Ministry of Telecommunications Building, Beirut Down Town.
