The TRA has issued Decision No. 7/2026 setting out the conditions and requirements for Internet Service Providers operating without the use of radio frequencies, to obtain and/or renew their licenses.

This decision introduces a clear and comprehensive framework related to procedures, required documentation, and operational disclosures for both new applicants and existing license holders seeking renewal. It also strengthens requirements related to financial transparency, infrastructure planning, and service provision.

Through this decision, the TRA seeks to reinforce regulatory oversight, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and support the development of a more transparent, competitive, and well-regulated telecom market in Lebanon.
