On Thursday, February 12, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) held a meeting with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Ogero, in the presence of the Chairwoman and the Board Members of the Authority, to outline the scope of Decision No. 4/2026 and clarify its implementation framework.

The meeting reflects the TRA’s regulatory mandate and its commitment to constructive engagement with sector stakeholders, with the aim of ensuring effective implementation of the Decision 4/2026, dismantling unlicensed internet networks, and maintaining service continuity, quality standards, and consumer protection.

The Authority emphasized that the decision will be implemented through a gradual and transparent regulatory process, in coordination with the relevant parties in line with Telecommunications Law 431/2002.
