"Lebanon Web Awards 2008“ granted the TRA a Bronze award for the website www.tra.gov.lb in a ceremony that was held at Regency Palace Hotel on Thursday, November 6, 2008.

After having received the prize, Mrs. Mahassen Ajam (Board member and Head of Information and Consumer Affair Unit at the TRA) had the opportunity to express her gratitude towards the organizers of the event (Mr. Pierre Moukarzel and the organizer “Feedback”) and her thankfulness to “Born interactive” -the company who developed and designed the TRA website- for their efforts and professionalism . Finally she complemented the TRA team for their hard work and devotion in their contribution to the success of the website.

Mrs. Ajam ended her speech by inviting all governmental organizations to participate in such an event. Actually, this year the jury had to merge the Governmental organizations, the International organizations and NGOs categories due to a lack of participants.
