The TRA held a workshop on Rights of Ways and New Building requirements on Thursday, February 26th , Gefinor Roatana Hotel. This work session gathered concerned Ministers, DGs, VIPs and industry experts to discuss the prerequisites for the introduction of Broadband services to Lebanon and the necessary infrastructure works to be deployed on Public properties and new buildings. This event, moderated by Dr. Imad Hoballah, TRA Board Member and head of the Telecommunications Technologies Unit, was marked by the presence and active participation of H.E. Minister Gebran Bassil who called for the usage of public properties owned by the MoT for effective introduction of broadband. Dr. Kamal Shehadi, Chairman and CEO of the TRA, mentioned that the Authority was preparing for the launch of National Broadband Licenses that will attract new investments and will allow the introduction of best in-class services to the country.
