The “Improving FM Broadcasting” paper serves many purposes; it aims at improving the quality of FM Broadcasting by enhancing the coverage and reducing interference.

In addition, the TRA is seeking comments from stakeholders on ways in which the FM Broadcasting in the 87.5-107.9 MHz band can be allocated and improved. The feedback received will be used to advise the Government of Lebanon on the appropriate policy to be adopted regarding the FM Broadcasting band.

The “Improving FM Broadcasting” paper is being currently launched for consultation. Interested parties can submit their feedback before December 19th, 2008.

The final version of this paper will be published in both Arabic and English after the conclusion of the consultation process.
