Eng. Manal Shihab, TRA Senior Software Expert and member of the Lebanese Multistakeholder Advisory Group (LMAG), played a key role in organizing the Lebanon Internet Governance Forum (LIGF 2025).

The forum was held at the Beirut Digital District on December 10–11, and brought together stakeholders from government, the private sector, civil society, and academia.

Eng. Shihab organized the opening session, “AI at a Crossroads: Paving the Way Towards Responsible Governance,” structured around four key pillars:

• The Pros and Cons of AI
• AI Governance and the Regulatory Landscape
• Data Sovereignty and Infrastructure
• Security, Privacy, Cyber Threats, and Awareness
