Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. It provides computation, software, data access, and storage services that do not require end-user knowledge of the physical location and configuration of the system that delivers the services.

2- Telecom market evaluation

This study aims at comparing the methodologies adopted by the regulators in different member countries to assess the telecommunications market and define the best practices and adopted tools to evaluate the market.

Assessing the telecommunications market is a necessary action to be undertaken by the Telecom Regulators on a regular basis to ensure fair and transparent competition between all service providers and provide high quality telecom services for end users.

3- Online children protection

Children are vulnerable and the cyberspace which they surf daily should be a safe and secure place for all future generations to come. Some of the activities that children might be exposed to when accessing the internet could be targets of pedophiles, cyber bandits, hackers and online predators.

This project aims at drawing a code of conduct for Arab telecom service providers and agree on typical guidelines to be followed in all Arab countries to ensure safe surfing for children and a protected cyberspace.
