Following consultations with telecommunications stakeholders, including with the Ministry of Telecommunications regarding the immediate need for assigning new numbers for the ongoing mobile expansion projects, the TRA has amended the National Numbering Plan (NNP) posted on its website to reassign codes (71) to MIC2 and (72) to MIC1. The final version of the NNP will be published in the Official Gazette and the timetable for the implementation of the NNP will be announced at a later stage in coordination with the operators.
