The purpose of issuing the “Access to Information” draft for consultation is to develop the interaction between the Authority and the Public in order to ensure that all stakeholders in the Telecommunications sector are involved in the decision making process.

In aiming for transparency, the Authority defines in this draft Regulation how parties can have access to information and studies that underpin the Authority’s decisions and stresses on the fact that all parties will be equally treated in terms of having access, to the same information and at the same time. The “Access to information” draft for Regulation is being currently launched for consultation. Consultation feedback is due by January 11th, 2009.

The final version of this Regulation will be published in English and Arabic after the conclusion of the consultation process.
