Friends of Lebanon Conference for Investment and Finance: from Paris III to Beirut I
November 20 - 21, 2008  

Venue: Intercontinental Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut

Organized by: Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal in cooperation with the Central Bank of Lebanon, the relevant ministries, the Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), and leading economic authorities in Lebanon

Focus on the vital role of Arab and international Investment in realizing the renewed take-off of the Lebanese economy. The conference will be an ideal opportunity to acquire an in-depth knowledge of economic developments in Lebanon within its Arab and international context and to explore future prospects in light of the recent international financial crisis.

Participants:   Prime Ministers, ministers, the top officials of Arab and international financial organizations, and about 600 leaders of public organizations and private enterprise from different countries in the region, particularly countries and organizations that participated at both the Paris II and III conferences, and other conferences and meetings held to support Lebanon over the past two decades.
